FAQ

How can we help you?
How do I track an email?

Go to your dashboard and press the plus (+) button to create a new mail tracking. A new page will appear, enter a name for your new mail tracking and press the create button. You will then see a dialog below 'Trackable pixel'. You can either copy the image itself and paste it in your outgoing email or copy the HTML-code in case you are creating a HTML-mail. Be careful not to add it more than once, otherwise your tracked data will contain double the data. Notice that the trackable pixel is invisible. You can then send your email to the recipients. Go to your dashboard and press the mail tracking with the name that you created. Whenever there is some data tracked you will see it over there.

How do I track an URL?

Go to your dashboard and press the plus (+) button to create a new mail tracking. A new page will appear, enter a name for your new mail tracking and press the create button. You will then see a dialog below 'Trackable URLs'. In the text field you need to enter the URL that you want to track and press the plus (+) button. The URL you have added will be added to the table below. That table row also contains a 'Trackable URL'. That is the URL you need to include in your email instead of the URL you entered. You can then send your email to the recipients. Go to your dashboard and press the mail tracking with the name that you created. Whenever there is some data tracked you will see it over there.

How do I prevent tracking myself?

For each device that you do not want tracked you need to add the IP-address of that device to the IP-address blacklist. Go to My Account > IP-address blacklist > Manage to add your IP-address to the blacklist. When you initially open the manage dialog, you will see your own IP-address filled in already. Just press the plus (+) button to add it to the blacklist.

Why aren't all recipients tracked?

There may be a number of reasons why your recipients are not tracked. One might be that the recipients mail client program has blocked images and/or URLs, because you are untrusted or out of precaution. Another reason might be that the recipient has not opened your mail. Make sure that your mail contains the trackable pixel and trackable URLs.

What is an IP-address?

An Internet Protocol address (IP address) is a numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication (from: IP address - Wikipedia). Based on the IP-address we can roughly get a location.
